v0.10.1: Character Creation

Space Whores version 0.10 adds character customization. You can choose your name and gender, and pick one of 4 backgrounds that grant different bonuses. These include Engineers, who pay less for brothel upgrades, and Recruiters, who pay less to post job ads and attract more applicants. Some of the existing events also have new options for characters with certain backgrounds.

Other changes include a new Elite Slave Market (unlocks at 50 in any rep), and a few balancing changes and bug fixes.

I've also improved the interface. It mostly looks the same, but it behaves better on smaller screen sizes, and you can customize it to move the whores list to one of the sides instead of the bottom. Whore cards will also gain scrollbars if they have too many traits to fit.

Saves from old versions should be compatible, although you'll have to start a new game in order to customize your character.

• The Headhunter now unlocks at 100/50/20/50 rep, rather than being unlocked from the start
• Events that multiply the number of customers you get (e.g. the broken light) now also affect alien customers
• Several existing events have new options unlocked by certain backgrounds
• Reduced the difference in payment between different customer classes. Specializing in lower-class customers should now be more viable
• Multiple events can trigger per day if there is more than one high-priority event that needs to trigger (can happen if you gain a lot of rep in one day and unlock more than one thing)
• Added "muscular chest" trait. Male whores will get this instead of "sexy legs"
• Various small bug fixes

v0.10.1:

• Fixed a bug where an empty slave market was appearing for players who'd turned slaves off in the options

As well as having access to the latest update, Patrons can pick from an additional 4 backgrounds, including the Slave Trader and Tentacle Hybrid. They also have the ability to edit whores' names and bios. The majority of the game's content remains available in the free version, though.
