v0.16: Whoever You Want Me To Be

Space Whores v0.16 introduces the custom whore creator, as voted for by patrons.

The new Custom Whores button on the title screen takes you to the custom whore creator, which lets you create characters and specify their name, bio, and stats. These custom whores will then have a chance of showing up in the recruitment sites in the game. You can specify how often you want them to appear.

The game chooses which recruitment site a whore turns up in based on their stats and traits. You can see in the creator which site they'll show up in, and also their price if they're a slave.

Custom whores won't appear in the game if they go against the game settings, e.g. male whores won't appear if you picked female whores only at game start, and slaves won't show up if slaves are turned off.

Each custom whore will keep showing up until you hire them. After that they won't show up again in that game, even if you fire them.

You can also import and export custom whores. They're exported as JSON text data like this:

The game does its best to sanitize the imported data, but I can't guarantee you won't be able to break something by importing bad data, so use at your own risk.

Notes:

• If you create a custom whore and then load a saved game, the new whore can show up in that game (although not until the game refreshes the recruitment sites at the start of the next day).
• If you want to make a character who goes by a single name, enter it in the first name field and leave the last name field blank.
• The game keeps track of which custom whores you've hired by their full names. So if you have two custom whores with the same name, they'll both show up until you hire one of them, after which neither of them will.
• Once you hire a whore in the game, they exist independently of their custom whores list entry, so deleting or changing the custom whores list entry won't affect the version you hired.
